I am looking forward to attending the upcoming Annual Conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in San Francisco, June 13-16, 2018. There, I will attend sessions alongside the country’s top immigration lawyers, gather updates on immigration law and policy and gain perspective on the fast-changing landscape in business immigration.
I am pleased to have been appointed to AILA’s Business Immigration Taskforce for 2018-19. As a member of that committee, I will have a front-row seat for the unfolding national debate over the future of employment-based immigration and business visas. While the immigration hard-liners within the Administration try to close the door to the economic stimulus of legal immigration, AILA and the Business Immigration Taskforce will be at the leading edge of efforts to protect American competitiveness by preserving immigration opportunities for qualified workers and professionals.
