On Wednesday, November 2, Matthew I. Hirsch will visit Penn State University to present a seminar on immigration issues affecting international students and scholars. As a graduate of Penn State and an alumni of the university’s Study Abroad program, Matt especially appreciates the opportunity to speak with international students and scholars. The students attending the program, including undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows and faculty, come from every corner of the globe. With more than 7,000 international students and scholars, Penn State University’s international enrollment makes up 11% of its student body.
Mr. Hirsch will focus on the process of transitioning from campus to the workforce and will offer up-to-date information about the H-1B and other temporary and long-term visa options for international students and scholars. The Law Office of Matthew I. Hirsch has many years of experience helping international students make the transition from campus to the workplace.
