Matthew I. Hirsch will once again be visiting a number of area campuses to present a seminar entitled, “Transitioning from Campus to the Workplace: Emerging Issues for International Students.” Aimed at graduating international students, the seminar provides useful guidance on the immigration issues facing seniors and graduate students as they transition from on-campus study, to off-campus experiential learning (OPT), to full-time employment.
This year, Mr. Hirsch will present the program at ten different schools, from Happy Valley, to Amish Country, to the Main Line, to University City. At each campus, Mr. Hirsch will present a 60-minute power point presentation and conduct a 30 minute Q&A on topics of concern to the international community. While the program will especially focus on transitioning from F-1 to H-1B, the program will also provide an introduction to employment-based immigration.
