As a member of the organization’s ACES (Arts, Culture, Entertainment, Sports) Committee, Matt will participate in policy discussions, liaise with immigration officials and work with colleagues from across the U.S. on immigration issues affecting individuals and organizations in the arts, culture, entertainment and sports communities. Matt looks forward to participating on the ACES committee and hopes to make contributions which will help clients in these fields to achieve their long-term and temporary immigration goals.
As a member of AILA’s Annual Conference Committee, Matt will work as part of a planning team for the organization’s 2014 Annual Conference in Boston. The four-day conference will include more than 300 sessions, spread over four learning tracks, from Fundamentals to Masters. The conference panels will feature America’s top experts on immigration and nationality law, speaking on topics of interest to the immigration law community. In the event that Congress approves a comprehensive overhaul of the U.S. immigration system, Matt and the committee will be working hard to organize sessions covering the newly-enacted law.
